    Vehicle finance commission complaints

    On 3 December 2025, the Financial Conduct Authority extended their deadline on the pause for responding to complaints around motor finance commissions. The pause will now be in place until 31 May 2026. You can find the latest information on our website here:

    Will you finance a vehicle if the customer has a provisional driving license?

    A valid non-provisional UK or EC/EEA driving licence is required on all applications. 

     

    For motorcycles, a provisional driving licence is acceptable where the licence covers the relevant category for the motorcycle being financed. We may also require a copy of CBT or other document to support.
