Our newly refurbished head office in Doncaster plays host to a wide range of functions which are integral to the daily running of Close Brothers Motor Finance. Largely open plan, with plenty of natural light and modern break-out areas, our head office working environment is engaging and collaborative.

Business Monitoring

Business Assurance, Compliance and Risk put in place and monitor controls across our business to ensure we continue to work as professionally and efficiently as possible.

Credit and Finance teams

Credit and Finance

Credit are responsible for forming our decisions around our lending appetite and managing our credit exposure. We have our own Finance team who keep track of everything going in and coming out of our business, as well as forecasting for the future.

IT and Business Intelligence teams

IT and Business Intelligence

We have our own in-house IT and Business Intelligence teams who are key in supporting many functions around the business.

Marketing and Change teams

Marketing and Change

Our Marketing team work closely with our Sales team, supporting them with creative ideas on how we can attract new business, retain existing relationships and promote our achievements. Within our Change team are Project Managers and Business Analysts who are responsible for large scale projects in the business, such as the Motor 2020 programme.

Marketing Executive

After graduating from university with a psychology degree, I joined Close Brothers Motor Finance as a Sales Executive in the customer service unit. I previously worked in customer service and was happy for the opportunity to develop my skills, whilst also gaining sales experience. As part of my personal development plan, I expressed an interest in gaining experience in areas that aligned to my degree, such as HR & Recruitment. I then eagerly pursued an opportunity in HR, which not only improved my knowledge of people management, but also my transferable skillset. I worked here for around eight months before applying for a position in Marketing. Now working as a Marketing Executive for around three years, I form part of the B2B team, focusing primarily on the delivery of results for our dealer partners. During this time, I've had the opportunity to complete my Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification, and I continue to work on my professional development, which will further support my career moving forward.

Operations Support Lead

I joined Close Brothers Motor Finance as a Sales Executive in the customer service unit, where I was able to further develop my experience in a sales environment. I was encouraged to create a personal development plan and through this – over the last few years - I’ve had the opportunity to move into a variety of roles in different areas of the business, from Service and Quality Coach, to Team Leader, to Operations Support Lead, to my current position as Supplier Management Lead. Whilst doing this, I’ve been able to build on my existing skillset and also develop new skills which will hopefully support my career going forward. Overall, I’m really grateful for the development opportunities in which Close Brothers Motor Finance has been able to offer and I would most definitely recommend them as a place of work.
